Kerala Hill Stations Kerala is blessed with some tremendous hill stations which are the most perfect choice to escape from the city noises, heat, tension, stress and crowd. Munnar Hills :
Munnar is a sought after destination of South India for its enchanting hill station in the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni & Kundala. This hill station is situated 1600 meter above sea level offering a cool misty atmosphere ideal for a holiday. Munnar hill are related to the history as it was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Government in South India. Ramakalmedu :
Ramakalmedu is an enchanting retreat with rolling green hills and the fresh mountain air. The picturesque villages of Bodi and Cumbum on the eastern slope of the Western Ghats can be viewed from the hilltop. This fascinating destination is situated at a distance of 40 km from Thekkady and 75 km from Munnar.

Rajamala :
Rajamala hills is the well-known hill station of Kerala located Fifteen km from Munnar. Rajamala constituency is the natural habitat of Nilgiri Tahr (Hemitragas hylocres) being home to half the world population of endangered mountain goats. The charming beauty and aesthetic view of this mountain offers a lot for the visitors.

Vagamon :
The charming hill station of Vagamon is located 3000 feet above the sea level. There are attractive gardens and meadows which add to the beauty of Vagamon. The cool climate and ideal plantation environment made Vagamon an ideal tourist destination thus also known as ‘Scotland of Asia’. The the greenery of the spot is amplified with the pine forests, scenic valleys, tea estates, waterfalls and mists. The cloud caressed hills of Nelliyampathy is an unspoiled hill station located in the Palakkad district of Kerala. This hill features around 10 hairpin bends to reach the hill top. The vast expanses of Tea estates, plantations and farms give a green surrounding worth to be visited. The vast stretches of Palakkad district along with the beautiful Pothundy dam can be viewed in the utmost splendor from the Nelliyampathy hills. It is also the home for many exotic flora and fauna.

Ponmudi is an enchanting hill station of South Kerala blessed with an array of mountain flowers, exotic butterflies and rivulets. The cool green environs and the narrow winding pathways attract the visitors to this fascinating destination. The misty valleys and tea estates add charm to this fast developing hill resort. Ponmudi also offers an outstanding opportunity for adventurous activities like trekking and mountaineering.
